BOARD OF DIRECTORS - Fund Raising

MC - 2000 is a privately - funded charitable corporation founded to help local students receive an excellent education and be well - prepared for a rewarding career, Our members are business people, educators, parents, students, and other concerned community members. 

Our main two goals:

1.  Support excellence in education.

Support for 'Renaissance' incentives for superior academic performance.

Educator Grants to fund experimental and pilot teaching programs.

Scholarships for 2-year and 4-year college-bound students.

2.  Support student career preparation. 

• Arrange job shadowing and plant tours at local businesses.

• Recruit Teacher Partners - business people who share experiences with teachers.

• Support efforts to include career exploration in school classes.
